FI6710 programmable Hall effect sensor
FI6710 is a cost-effective single die programmable linear Hall sensor chip (IC). It can offer analog output signals in proportion to magnetic field intensity, which is perpendicular to the surface of chip. With the appropriate magnetic circuit design, FI6710 can be used to measure the moving position of the magnet with small strokes (linear movement, stroke, small rotational position, etc.). its analog signal processing is based on a fully differential analog processing chain, which uses active error correction circuits (quadrature rotational current and chopper stabilization amplifiers) to essentially eliminate the offset errors associated with Hall devices. It has very stable thermal compensation characteristics, and can guarantee sensitivity and static voltage over a wide temperature range.FI6710 includes on-chip EEPROM technology. All magnetic response functions can be fully programmed and provide flexible, unparalleled configurability and product traceability for customers to ensure a wide range of applications and reduce system tolerances (line-end calibration) and can be used in demanding linear magnetic field sensor applications.FI6710 linear Hall position sensor meets automotive industry standards with the function of over-voltage and reverse voltage protection including disconnection diagnostics. Meanwhile, it has very stable thermal compensation characteristics to guarantee sensitivity and VOQ over a wide temperature range. There are many kinds of package forms for FI6710, including surface mount (SMD) SOIC-8 packages and 3-pin TO92 in-line packages.
